[edit] Background

Jerome Rothen is a 31 year old left winger who plays for Rangers in the SPL on loan from Paris Saint-Geramin. Rothen started his career with SM Caen, which was then followed by successful spells with Troyes and AS Monaco, before he got his dream move to PSG. In September 2009 Rothen agreed to join Rangers on a one-year loan deal from PSG. He made his debut for the club on 12 September 2009 against Motherwell and made his first appearance in the Champions league for Rangers in their 1-1 draw away to Stuttgart.

[edit] Football Manager 2010

Rothen's best position is as left winger, but he can also play well as a central midfielder. He is considered a fairly good player at Rangers, and his specialties are crossing and passing. He isn't good in the air and he can be quite injury-prone. His loan at Rangers runs out on the 30th July, 2010. He is one of Rangers highest earners on £14,000, which is a major problem considering the club's fragile financial status
