[edit] Career

Viktor Sköld is one of many Swedish young talent, playing at a striker or at the right side of the midfield. After coming through in Holmalund at young age he moved on to domestic top side IF Elfsborg in 2006 but failing to break through in competition with player such as Denni Avdic he in 2010 joined second division side FC Trollhättan where he has gained his professional breakthrough. All though the team ended up facing relegation at the end of the season Sköld impressed during the entire campaign being the club's top scorer with 10 league goals and 1 in the Swedish Cup at the age of 20.

Being described as a technically gifted player young Sköld who plays just as well as on top as on the wing seems to getting the first team experience he is needing to make it even further. Bigger clubs are keeping their eyes open as it seems unlikely he'll follow FC Trollhättan down the divisions.

[edit] Football Manager 2011

Victor Sköld (FM uses the spelling of his first name with a c) is a player who if you're a smaller side should defiantly keep your eyes on. Being able to develop to a Swedish player more than capable of playing in the first division of Sweden he could also just as well make it in any other country, if just given the confidence. Key stats in the technical area is 14 Crossing, 13 Passing and 14 Heading proving he could just as well set up goals as score them on his own. Combined with Acceleration and Pace of 14 he has what it takes to run down the wing or as a striker who you seek on the deep. If you wish, he is also able to retrain a MC/AMC. Considered quite a bargain you could price him away for about £300k.
