Tim Matavz is a Slovenian striker who plays for FC Groningen, however he is currently on loan at FC Emmen - a first division team in Holland. He was rumoured to be joining Fiorentina, however, he joined FC Groningen from Slovenian first division outfit Gorica after scoring 11 goals in 27 appearances for them.

Strengths

Matavz is quite a pacy player, as well as having a good first touch and finishing ability. Set to run onto the ball, or have the ball played to his feet, he is sure to impress. Another strength he has, is his young age. He will get much better if played regularly and scored 30 goals for Stoke in 53 appearances in the Championship, but his potential could lead to him being a good Premier League striker in the future.

Weaknesses

He is not the best at tackling and doesn't have very good determination. His biggest weakness is his poor set piece abilty, most notably his awful Penalty taking.
