Sports Interactive (or SI) is a computer games development studio, and a division of major video game company sega. It was set up by the Collyer brothers and develops popular games such as Football Manager and NHL Eastside Hockey Manager and used to develop Championship Manager. It's FM series have become incredibly popular, with FM 2007 and FM 2008 selling over a million copies worldwide.

Split With Eidos

Before the split SI created the Championship Manager series with Eidos publishing the game. However, in 2003 the two groups decided to go their separate ways. SI then became a part of sega, while Eidos carried on creating Championship Manager. Championship Manager, along with FIFA Manager, continue to be Football Manager's main rivals in the football management genre, but FM is much more popular than these two.
