Paulo Renato Rebocho Ferreira or just Paulo Ferreira is a Portuguese right back that currently plays for Chelsea. He is regarded as a third choice back up player. Paulo has managed to appear for the Chelsea first team over 110 times whilst also appearing for the Portuguese on over 50 occasions.

Paulo started his career for the Portuguese club Estoril-Praia before moving to FK Chmel Blšany and Vitória de Setúbal for where he made over 100 appearances for these clubs. In 2002 Paulo moved to FC Porto where he started to make his name on the international stage in both the Champions League which he won with the club and also with Portugal in the European Football Championship as they ended runners up. Soon after this Paulo moved to Chelsea for £13.2M and has since has had the best success in his career by winning the Barclay's Premier League and FA Cup on three occasions, and the Community Shield and League Cup on two occasions.

Paulo is a back up player within the game and thus dosen't posses the greatest abilities however he does excels with his Determination, Teamwork, Work Rate, Agility, Balance, Natural Fitness and Stamina as they are all over 15/20 attributes. Paulo doesn't posses any real weakness though he is regarded as a good team player.
