Background
Langerak, born in Queensland, started a career in football in 2002, when he joined local club Across the Waves. After four years at the small Queensland club, he was scouted by Melbourne Victory, and was signed as third choice 'keeper in February 2007, behind Eugene Galekovic and Michael Theoklitos. When Galekovic was transferred to Adelaide, Langerak became back up to Theoklitos, and debuted in round 21 of the 07/08 A-League season. Langerak is currently the backup 'keeper to Kiwi international Glen Moss.
Football Manager 2010
Langerak is one of the brighter Australian 'keeping prospects in the A-League at the start of the game, and will fill in admirably when first choice Glen Moss is injured. However, will be left behind in following seasons, as more competent regenerated players start filtering through the youth ranks. An A-League goalkeeper at best.
