Background

Michael Owen is a 29 year old striker who plays for Manchester United in the English Premier League. Owen started his career with Liverpool, before moving to Real Madrid following his 216 senior appearances in a Liverpool shirt. Owen then moved to Newcastle United after just one year at Madrid, in which he was a first team regular. Owen spent an injury ravaged four years at Newcastle, before leaving on a free transfer following the club's relegation to the Coca Cola Championship. Owen went to Manchester United, where he still currently plays.

Owen is fairly good at finishing and has good strikers instincts with high stats for anticipation and off the ball. Still with a fair amount of pace, Owen is best utilized paired with a knockdown target man or with plenty of through balls and long balls. However, Owen is a very injury prone player.
