Manchester City are a team founded originally in 1880 in the city of Manchester but were under a different name they changed their name to Manchester City in 1894. They used to play at Maine Road until recently they moved to The City Of Manchester Stadium. It can hold upto 48,000 fans at a time. The current manager of Manchester City is Roberto Mancini. Abu Dhabi United Group Investment and Development Limited completed a takeover of the club on the first of september 2008. They are a very rich group and claim to have 10 times the amount of money that Roman Abramovich has. On the last day of the transfer window Manchester city completed a 32.5m signing of Robinho from Real Madrid a deal that before the club was taken over would never have been in the frame.
