Background

Kris Boyd is a 26 year old striker who plays for Rangers in the SPL. He started his professional career with Kilmarnock. Then he transferred to Rangers in January 2006 for a fee of £400,000, and has been Rangers' top goalscorer in every season since his arrival. He is currently the second highest goalscorer in the history of the SPL, behind Henrik Larsson.

Boyd plays best as a striker and he is great at finishing. His physical attributes are not great, but his ability to be in the right place at the right time makes up for that. Boyd is considered a good player for the club, and he would be a leading star for most SPL sides.
