Henrique Hilário Meireles Alves Sampaio, or just Henrique Hilário is a Portuguese goalkeeper that currently plays for Chelsea. He is regarded as a average back goalkeeper and sits as third choice behind Ross Turnball and Petr Cech in the current squad. Hilario has managed to appear for the Chelsea first team over 15 times whilst only appearing for the Portuguese National squad on 1 occasions.

Hilario started his career for the Portuguese club Naval 1º Maio before moving to Académica Coimbra and then FC Porto. During his time here he was loaned out on three occasions to Estrela Amadora, Varzim and back to previous team Académica Coimbra and made over 60 appearances in these loans. Hilario however never broke into the Porto first team and was eventually sold to Nacional and here he made over 50 appearances for the club. However in 2006 José Mourinho managed to convince Hilario to sign for Chelsea FC. Hilario made his debut on 18 October against FC Barcelona in which he kept a clean sheet in a 1–0 victory. Since joining Chelsea FC Hilario has the honours of winning the Premier League, League Cup and Community Shield on one occasion however he has two FA Cup winners medals.

Henrique Hilário possess an average ability as a whole but he mainly excels with his Reflexes, Composure, Determination, Work Rate, Concentration, Decisions, Positioning, Agility, Jumping and Stamina abilities as they are all over 15/20 attributes. Hilario main weakness is that he fails to get a great distance from his goal kicks.
