Information
France has been a leading team in the international section for a long time. In the past 4 World Cups, they have been in two finals and won one of them. They participated in the very first World Cup, not making it out of the group phases. They have also had good spells in the Euro Championships were they won the 2001 edition. They share with Argentina, the record of winning every Cup their is too win ( World Cup; Euro Champs; Confederation Cup). Having those good results, they still need to confirm their power by beating the Republic Of Ireland in the play-off of the 2010 World Cup. Zinedine Zidane, Michel Platini, Thierry Henry, Jean Pierre Papin, Lilian Thuram and Marcel Desailly are some of the few great footballers that have represented France. They currently lay 9th in the FIFA ranking, after a few disappointing results.

France are a very enjoyable game, and the challenge is making them the team they were in 1998, and getting back to 1st place. They have a great squad and great youngsters coming through with the likes of Mamadou Sakho. Also, they need a new manager after Raymond Domenech as he hasn't been really successful AT ALL.
