Sochaux is a French football team who play in Ligue 1. The club was founded in 1928 by a group of Renault workers. They play in the Stade Auguste Bonal, which can hold 20,000 fans. Their current chairman is Jean-Claude Plessis and their manager is Francis Gillot. They are nicknamed " Les Lionceaux" and have a good youth system, bringing up players such as Benoit Pedretti and Pierre-Alain Frau, who made it to the international level. They have recently been changing a lot of managers, 5 different managers in 6 years, which made them stay a mid-table team.
