[edit] Background

David N'Gog is a French Under 21s Striker that currently plays for Liverpool. David within the team is regarded as a replacement for the leading man Torres who is currently number 1 choice and lone striker form Liverpool. David though has managed to appear for the first team over 35 times whilst also appearing for the all the French Youth National teams on over 20 occasions.

[edit] History

David N'Gog started his career at FC Franconville and then Paris Saint-Germain as a young player before finally stepping into the first team in 2007 where he only made 18 appearances with only the 1 goal. However despite this poor run in the first team he was soon snapped up the following season by Rafa Benitez's Liverpool side who paid a reported £1.5M pounds for the young talent. Since joining the Red's N'Gog has managed to score just over 8 occasions for the first team . N'Gog only has one winners medal to his name and that was with PSG in 2008 when they won the Coupe de la Ligue.

[edit] FM10 Rating

David N'Gog is a good back up player for Liverpool in this years version of the game. He never had the potential to become better then Torres but is easily capable of being a substitute for him to run against tired legs. N'Gog's main ability it to be able to run fast where as all his other abilities are all below 15 and still developing. However with that said he is not a first team prospect and if someone else is brought in then it is likely you are going to be selling him after a couple of seasons.
