Daniel Lewis Haynes (born January 19th 1988) is an English footballer who currently plays in the Coca Cola Championship for Ipswich Town. He peforms best as a striker but he can also play as a right winger. Haynes joined Ipswich Town from Charlton Athletic in 2005. He immediately became a fan favourite after scoring a last gasp winner against arch rivals Norwich City. Danny has made 83 appearences for the blues, scoring 17 goals in the process. Danny has been capped for England U19's 5 times. He has also been linked with a move to a number of premiership clubs, but has stated that he wants to stay at Ipswich and try to win promotion.
 Football Manager 2008
+ Pace (17) Haynes can be extremely lethal on the break. Due to his blistering pace Danny can leave defences for dead.
+ Acceleration (17) With his quick acceleration Danny can run onto passes with great ease. He also a great player to have on the wings, he can dribble past players using his great pace and acceleration.
+ Dribbling (16) His good dribbling can be used with his pace to take on defenders. Using these attributes to his best, Danny will tear apart defences.
- Crossing (8) Haynes' poor crossing means that he won't be able to pick a cross out as good as his team mates.
- Strength (10) His poor strength stat means that he will be more likely to get knocked off the ball by his opponent.
- Heading (11) and Jumping (10) His poor heading and jumping stats means he won't be much of an aerial threat.
 Player Instructions
Those are the Player Instructions that I use for Danny. If i play him up front i usually set him to target man, run onto ball aswell.
Overall, Danny Haynes would be a great asset to any teams in League One and the Coca Cola Championship and in a few years he will become Premiership quality. He is availible on loan for the first couple of seasons however if you want to purchase him instead he will only cost approximately £3-5m. If played correctly Danny will score 20+ goals in League One and the Championship. His fantastic pace and good dribbling means he will become a star for most sides.
