Background

Allan McGregor is a 27 year old goalkeeper who plays for Rangers in the SPL. McGregor is a product of the Rangers youth setup and Rangers is his only club. McGregor was banned from the Scottish national team for life after an infamous drinking session with former Rangers skipper Barry Ferguson while on international duty for Scotland. The pair sat out Scotlands 2-1 victory over Iceland and were banned for gestures they made while sitting on the bench. McGregor is well known for his off the field antics as well as on the field, such as the aforementioned booze-up and womanizing. McGregor played a key part in Rangers run to the UEFA cup, pulling off a wondersave against Werder Bremen in the process.

This is always a benefit when it comes to picking you squad for the Champions League, as he qualifies for a Home Grown player.
