Accrington Stanley was formed in 1968 and eventually won promotion to the Coca Cola League Two after finishing 1st in Blue Square Premierin the 2005/06 season.
In the 1980's Accrington gained fame after being mentioned in a UK television advert for milk.
Accrington are now in their 4th season in the Coca Cola League Two and will be hoping to finish higher than last season where they came 16th.
