Club Information
AA Gent are a Belgian football team who are based in the city of Ghent. They currently play in the Jupiler Pro League where they have been since the 1988/89 season and considered to be one of the better teams in Belgian. They are nicknamed De Buffalo's (The Buffaloes) after Buffalo Bill and his famous Wild West circus who visited the city in the early 1900's. They have yet to win the Top Division in Belgian although they have been runners up on one occasion in 1955 and finished in third six times the most recent being 2000.
